AccessibilityService access, if you enable the Digital Wellbeing Control feature on Android — used solely to help detect which app is currently open so Challenger Fit can apply the app limits you configure yourself and guide you back to a movement break when the selected limit is reached. This access is optional, user-enabled, and can be disabled at any time in Android settings. Challenger Fit does not use AccessibilityService to read messages, passwords, personal text, contacts, financial information, or screen content, and does not use it for advertising, analytics, profiling, or collecting personal content.

Depending on the situation, we process information:

- to provide the Service you request;

- based on your actions and requests within the App;

- `Firebase Messaging` for push notifications;

- `Apple Health` / `Health Connect` for steps and physical activity data, if you grant permission;

- `Google ML Kit` for movement/pose-related workout features;
- Apple ReplayKit and Android MediaProjection / MediaStore for optional workout screen recording, previewing, saving, and sharing on your device.

These services may process information as needed to provide their respective functions.

- certain activity and statistics when displayed publicly;

- follow/friend relationships subject to privacy settings.

Please do not post information in public areas that you do not want other users to see.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

- operate the App and maintain your account;

- preserve workout history, challenge progress, order history, and internal accounting records;

- comply with legal obligations;

- resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and protect the Service.

Some information may be retained longer in anonymized, aggregated, archived, or system-integrity forms where necessary for accounting, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or recordkeeping.

8. Account Deletion

If account deletion is available in the App, you may request deletion using the in-app functionality.

When an account is deleted, we may:

- disable account access;

- anonymize profile information and certain related data;

- retain some records where necessary for database integrity, point/order history, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

This means deletion may not always result in the immediate physical erasure of every related record.

9. Your Choices and Rights

- request access to your information;

- request correction of inaccurate information;

- request deletion of information;

10. International Data Transfers

The App may use infrastructure and service providers located in multiple countries. As a result, your information may be processed and stored outside your country of residence, including in the United States and other jurisdictions where our providers and technical infrastructure operate.

By using the App, you understand that data protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from the laws where you live.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure.

12. Children

The App is not intended for use by children where prohibited by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of applicable law, please contact us at support@challenger.fit.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be posted at https://www.challenger.fit/privacy-policy or on the page where the App's legal documents are published. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated version.

14. Digital Wellbeing Feature (Screen Time / Family Controls / Android AccessibilityService)

Challenger Fit includes an optional Digital Wellbeing feature that allows you to set self-imposed limits on distracting apps. To use this feature, the app requests access to Screen Time / Family Controls on your device.

How it works:

  • The feature is entirely opt-in and must be explicitly enabled by the device owner.

  • You choose which apps to restrict and define the conditions under which they are paused — completing a short physical activity break.

  • The feature operates locally on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any data about which apps you use, how long you use them, or your app usage patterns.

  • Screen Time / Family Controls access is used only to apply the limits you configure. It is not used for analytics, advertising, or any purpose beyond enforcing your own settings.

  • You can disable or remove the feature at any time through the app or your device settings.

This feature is designed for personal self-regulation. It is not a parental control tool and is not intended for monitoring other people's devices.

On Android, the feature may request AccessibilityService access. This access is used only to detect the currently open app for the purpose of applying the app limits you selected and returning you to Challenger Fit for a movement break when the limit is reached. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell AccessibilityService data, and we do not use this access to read messages, passwords, personal text, contacts, financial information, or screen content.

15. Workout Screen Recording

If you choose to use the workout screen recording feature, Challenger Fit may use the screen recording capabilities provided by your device operating system, including ReplayKit on iOS and MediaProjection on Android.

This feature is optional and is started only when you manually choose to record a workout. Before recording begins, your device operating system may show a system prompt or recording interface.

Workout screen recordings may include the workout camera view, your image or body position during exercise, exercise overlays, workout results, and other information visible on the Challenger Fit screen at the time of recording.

Challenger Fit does not automatically upload workout screen recordings to our servers. Recordings are processed locally on your device. You decide whether to preview, save, edit, share, or delete the recording.

On Android, recordings may be temporarily stored in the app cache until you choose to save them to your gallery, share them, or delete them. If you save a recording, it is stored in your device gallery, such as Movies/Challenger, depending on your device. If you share a recording through the Android share sheet, the selected third-party app or service is responsible for how it handles the video.

On iOS, recordings are handled through Apple's ReplayKit and system recording preview/editor. If you choose to save, edit, or share a recording, it is handled through Apple's system interface and any app or service you select.

You should not record or share content that you do not want others to see.

16. Camera Pulse Measurement

If you choose to use the pulse measurement feature, Challenger Fit may use your device camera and flash to estimate your heart rate by detecting changes in light reflected from your fingertip.

This feature is optional and starts only when you manually choose to begin a measurement. The pulse estimate is processed locally on your device. Challenger Fit does not record video, take photos, or upload camera frames for this feature.

Pulse measurement results are intended for general wellness and self-observation only. They are not medical measurements, are not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and should not replace professional medical advice or certified medical devices.
